La Petite École Bilingue’s admission criteria are based on school reports from previous years and teachers’ observations. However, our approach also takes the child, his or her personality and motivation into account.

We do not require a specific level of English and/or French to join La Petite École Bilingue. We work with our students in groups of different levels in each elementary class and adapt our programmes to each child.

La Petite École Bilingue welcomes pupils from 8.30 to 16.30. The school gate closes at 8.45. In the event of lateness, parents are asked to bring their children back at lunchtime, i.e. 11.30 for nursery and 12.30 for primary.

Uniforms must be purchased from the school when the child registers (€40).

A list of school supplies is given to parents before the start of the school year. Materials can be ordered from

Communication with the school during the day is preferably by WhatsApp, text message or email for minor problems.
In the event of an event likely to affect the child’s well-being or a fundamental problem, parents are invited to make an appointment with the teachers for a meeting outside school hours.

Home-cooked meals are only authorised for medical reasons and on presentation of a medical certificate.

La Petite École Bilingue follows the official French school holiday calendar. It is based on the Zone A calendar.

All our staff are first-aid trained. In the event of an accident, we call the fire brigade or ambulance, and parents are notified immediately.
