La Petite Ecole Bilingue’s mission is to provide quality French-English immersion education. Our programmes strictly follow the official instructions of the French National Education System and the British National Education System. Through an educational project focused on individual needs, we help each child to fulfil his or her full potential.
In practice, each day is made up equally of two periods: one half-day all in French, the other all in English. A native-speaking teaching duo shares the teaching time.
To facilitate learning, we use a systemic approach based on the particularities of the pupils, their context and their culture.
Our project is characterised by an approach centred on the individual and his or her behaviour. It is based on:
Light, colours, flowers, animals: our classrooms are warm and cheerful places. Their decor, adapted to each age group, helps to inspire children to work.
Through an environment and activities that appeal to the senses, we also aim to stimulate children’s imagination. On one hand, this helps to develop their personality; on the other, it encourages self-confidence.
